ThinLincs utvecklingsteam presenterar stolt ThinLinc 1.4.0. Den här
versionen är ett stort steg framåt när det gäller funktionalitet,
tillförlitlighet och kompatibilitet. Fler än 180 förbättringar har
gjorts sedan föregående release.

Klienter kan hämtas direkt från webbplatsen
www.thinlinc.se. Servermjukvaran finns tillgänglig på partnerwebben
samt på www.cendio.se/files/thinlinc/protected/ (kräver inloggning).

Samtidigt som ThinLinc 1.4.0 släpps så presenterar vi en helt ny
produkt: ThinLinc LiveCD. Genom att starta hela operativsystemet från
en CD så kan LiveCDn tillhandahålla en fullständigt säker miljö för
ThinLinc-klienten, och är immun mot virus, "spyware" och annan typ av
skadlig programkod som kan finnas på PC:ns hårddisk. ThinLinc LiveCD
är idealisk för distansanvändare. Den baseras på den prisbelönta
mjukvaran KNOPPIX.

The ThinLinc development team is proud to present ThinLinc 1.4.0. This
release is a major step forward in terms of functionality, reliability
and compatibility. More than 180 enhancements have been applied since
the previous release.

Clients can be downloaded directly from our web page
www.thinlinc.com. The server software is available from the partner
web, and from from www.cendio.se/files/thinlinc/protected/ (requires
login).

Together with ThinLinc 1.4.0, we are announcing a new product: The
ThinLinc LiveCD. By booting the entire operating system off a CD, the
LiveCD provides a fully secure environment for the ThinLinc client,
immune to viruses, spyware and other types of malicious code present
on the PCs hard drive. The ThinLinc LiveCD is ideal for users
connecting to the organization remotely. It is based on the
award-winning KNOPPIX software.
