Hello all,

Quick update, I have now fixed this. Was having a brain burp moment :)

${TLPREFIX}/bin/tl-run-windesk -G (Group)

ThinLinc now wins over 2X/RDS :)

Test Command string keeps confusing me!

Cheers

Rob

Subject: Publish Individual Windows RDS Servers

Hi all,

A quick question as I've really hit a blank on this.

Basically what I'm trying to achieve is the ability to publish individual RDS Servers to different people/groups.

For example I currently have setup:

2 X RDS Servers Windows 2008R2 - Joined to domain.
1 x Domain controller
1 x Ubuntu 12.04 Master/Agent joined to the domain and working fine for logons

I can publish Unity and Windows desktop OK from the Linux box and one of the Windows Servers and I can login ok using a domain account.

What I have done:

Created 2 WTS groups and added both server IPs to the respective groups. STF and the default group that already exists.

Created a profile for each server STF1 Desktop STF2 Desktop

Then I have created a Desktop group STF and added myself as a user and the two profiles I created.

I can see these servers in appservergroup file OK

Clearly I am missing something important with how ThinlInc manages profiles and users?

Can anyone suggest any tips to point me in the right direction on this as I feel Im close and if this works will need 40 licenses for a project.

Many thanks

Rob
