<b>Subject:</b> Publish Individual Windows RDS Servers<o:p></o:p></span></p>
</div>
</div>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Hi all,<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">A quick question as I’ve really hit a blank on this.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Basically what I’m trying to achieve is the ability to publish individual RDS Servers to different people/groups.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">For example I currently have setup:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">2 X RDS Servers Windows 2008R2 – Joined to domain.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">1 x Domain controller<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">1 x Ubuntu 12.04 Master/Agent joined to the domain and working fine for logons<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I can publish Unity and Windows desktop OK from the Linux box and one of the Windows Servers and I can login ok using a domain account.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">What I have done:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Created 2 WTS groups and added both server IPs to the respective groups. STF and the default group that already exists.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Created a profile for each server STF1 Desktop STF2 Desktop<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Then I have created a Desktop group STF and added myself as a user and the two profiles I created.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><br>
I can see these servers in appservergroup file OK<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Clearly I am missing something important with how ThinlInc manages profiles and users?<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Can anyone suggest any tips to point me in the right direction on this as I feel Im close and if this works will need 40 licenses for a project.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Many thanks<o:p></o:p></p>
