Sorry if this is drifting OT a little, but I've just learned from our sales rep
that the IZ series terminals have a stripped-down firmware that requires a VDI
infrastructure (either Microsoft RemoteFX or Citrix HDX) to operate at all.

If this is true, the IZ series are in fact no use to us since we intend to
simply provide a Linux desktop to our users. And neither do I have a idea what
RemoteFX or HDX is, nor do I want to know, let alone run such a thing just to
perate the terminal hardware.

So I'm wondering if you have any of the mentioned VDI solutions in your lab or
if you were able to use the IZ1 terminals standalone?
