It works the other way around: Availability of applications (via
"Application Groups") can be activated depending on the active session
profile. However, to control which profiles should be available, you go
into Profile -> Profile list. For each profile, you can select if it
should be available at all. Additionally, you have the "Test Command",
where you can enter any shell command line. If it returns true, the
profile will be available. The default configuration is that all profiles
are available if the corresponding environment is installed. For example,
the KDE profile has a test command of "type startkde", so it will be
displayed if KDE is installed on the system (if the "startkde" command is
found).
