Thanks, this explains the problem. Unlike the client, the ThinLinc server 
must be installed with the /opt/thinlinc prefix. I'm surprised anything 
works with another prefix :-) How did you install, did you move the files 
after installation?

Anyhow, we work towards supporting other installation prefixes, so I have 
opened up a bug for the fact that thinlinc.ctccommon.get_tl_xvnc_processes 
and tlwebaccess have /opt/thinlinc hardcoded:

Until this bug is fixed, you can work around the problem by replacing 
/opt/thinlinc/libexec/Xvnc with 
/usr/pack/tl-4.1.0-mo/amd64-linux-ubuntu12.04/opt/thinlinc/libexec/Xvnc in 
/opt/thinlinc/modules/thinlinc/ctccommon.py .
