[Thinlinc-technical] cpu consumption on disconnected sessions

We see 30-40% cpu consumption in metacity (window manager) and
gnome-sound-applet in disconnected sessions if audio has been active at
some point.  Is there a good workaround?  If the audio is from, say,
Adobe flash, then it does not suffice to close the associated browser.

Config: Debian stable ("wheezy") 64-bit (hosted by ESXi 5), thinlinc
4.1.
