hi all,

- Thinlinc version 4.7.0

- master is Debian 8.6 ("Jessie")

- "cups" packages installed and running:

# systemctl status cups.service
* cups.service - CUPS Printing Service
   Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/cups.service; enabled)
Active: active (running) since Mon 2016-11-28 14:32:55 CET; 36min ago
     Docs: man:cupsd(8)
           man:cupsd.conf(5)
 Main PID: 13078 (cupsd)
   CGroup:
/user.slice/user-0.slice/session-59292.scope/system.slice/cups.service
           `-13078 /usr/sbin/cupsd -f

Nov 28 14:32:55 tl_srv46 systemd[1]: Started CUPS Printing Service.

- Installation goes fine till the point where the printing gets configured.
The "tl-setup" output shows "failed", - its logfile "/var/log/tlsetup.log"
contains this:

...
2016-11-28 14:32:55,163: Configuring CUPS...
2016-11-28 14:32:55,164: Adding 'thinlocal' printer queue...
2016-11-28 14:33:25,597: Failed to run printer script
'/opt/thinlinc/libexec/add_thinlinc_filters'
2016-11-28 14:33:25,597: Output (stdout):
2016-11-28 14:33:25,597:     Using CUPS installed at prefix /usr
2016-11-28 14:33:25,597:     Using CUPS_SERVERBIN=/usr/lib/cups
2016-11-28 14:33:25,597:     Adding CUPS filter thinlinc-ps2pdf
2016-11-28 14:33:25,597:     Restarting CUPS to make it aware of
changes...
2016-11-28 14:33:25,597:     Waiting for CUPS to start...
2016-11-28 14:33:25,598:     Timeout waiting for CUPS to start
2016-11-28 14:36:28,290: Configuring PAM...
...

Since CUPS is correctly running and restarted, I don't see where any
information or status about CUPS can be gathered that might indicate the
reason why tlsetup is failing to detect that it's happily running...

-> any help is mostly appreciated !

Rob
