Hi Par,

Yes we have managed to deploy thinlinc (4.1 so old version) via puppet. Currently only the sessionmanager is fully managed. I'm working on the agent server.
The code I have created is not puppet-forge proof but I am willing to share if it's ready.

Onderwerp: [Thinlinc-technical] ThinLinc and Puppet?

Hi,

Is anybody using Puppet (https://puppetlabs.com/) to install and/or manage ThinLinc?

At NSC we are slowly migrating more and more of our configuration management to Puppet. Our current ThinLinc installation is done manually. We are currently in the process of setting up a new compute cluster, which will eventually get ThinLinc installed on its frond-end node.

This would be a good time to experiment with using Puppet for ThinLinc. If anybody have started on any Puppet manifests/modules for ThinLinc we would be very interested, even if it is incomplete or untested.

Regards,
