I apologize for my bad english. I will try another way to explain my
problem.

/etc/environment file is a way to give environment variables that are
known to everybody processes. For example, my /etc/environment file
contains:

http_proxy=http://proxy:3128

For everybody who log to my server with GDM or ssh:

# echo $http_proxy
http://proxy:3128

When somebody login with thinlinc:
# echo $http_proxy

gives nothing. :-(
