the server works fine, we do have a symlink in /opt/thinlinc ...

while you are at it, you may want to consider becoming more
file-sytem-standard compliant ... when installing thinlinc on
ubuntu, ubuntu warns that the package is of low quality, this may
not be the impression you want your users to get at the start ...

for example, we move /opt/thinlinc/etc to /etc/opt/thinlinc (using
another symlink)
