Hi. We have considered making a "Live" version of TLCOS. The bug for this 
is https://www.cendio.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2775 . This was a 
while, though. In general, TLCOS is based on an old Linux distribution and 
therefore more suitable for converting old PCs into thin clients. Running 
it on modern hardware does not always work. We are considering if we 
should upgrade TLCOS (bug 3905), or if decommissioning makes more sense 
(bug 4356).

As an alternative, the Thinstation distribution can be used 
(http://www.thinstation.org/). At one point, it seemed to establish itself 
as a "the de facto standard" for thin client distributions, but now I'm 
not sure that will happen. But you can consider trying it out. Feedback is 
appreciated.
